Why a private tour?
Because you want an itinerary to fit you like a glove – tailor made so that your thirst for knowledge and pretty sights is quenched during the limited time you have at disposal in the Balkan area all without exceeding your budget for the trip!
Because you may want to be spoiled with overnights in elegant, centrally located hotels, but also “go local” and sleep in old traditional houses in ethno-villages or even stay with a family and make friends with them over a few drinks of Schliwowitz!
Because you’d rather spend all your time here in a museum or visiting a monastery rather than dedicate any time to shopping….or maybe the other way around!
Because you want to travel at your own pace; start early in the morning, do a bird watching expedition, have breakfast and lunch on the go, hike through the forest and see as many churches as you can in one day too…………..or maybe start your day with a hearty breakfast, stop during the tour, have a Turkish coffee in a café on a busy street and people watch, attend a traditional festival and end your day with a traditional style dinner with “tamburasi” serenading you at your table!
Because you have tons of questions and want the full attention of your guide to better understand the area and the oh-so-complicated Balkan history!
Because you are unique and want to experience our unique region in your own unique way!
