Mokra Gora & Sargan 8
This full day tour starts with a transfer to Mokra Gora, where you visit Drvengrad, the ethno-village of movie director Emir Kusturica. He had it built for his film “Life Is a Miracle”, but it is now open for visitors. Then ride on the Sargan 8 train - a narrow gauge heritage railway in Serbia, running from the village of Mokra Gora to Šargan Vitasi station. After lunch, drive to Visegrad in Bosnia for a picture opportunity of the Bridge on the Drina (made famous by the book with the same name by Ivo Andric – Nobel prize winner). You return to Guca via a short drive to one of the popular mountain resort in Serbia, Zlatibor.
Ovcar- Kablar Gorge Tour
Enjoy a drive through the spectacular scenery of the Ovcar Kablar Gorge. Visit 2 (two) medieval Orthodox monasteries: St Nikolije and St Jovanije. The tour lasts for approx. 3 hours.
Guided visit to Zica Monastery near Kraljevo (originally dating back to the 13th century and the first seat of the Serbian Archbishopric in the times of St Sava). The tour lasts approx. 3 hours.
Full day Monastery Tour
Serbia’s oldest and most famous Orthodox monasteries are situated within easy reach of Guca. This full day trip will offer you guided visits to Zica Monastery near Kraljevo (originally dating back to the 13th century and the first seat of the Serbian Archbishopric in the times of St Sava), Studenica Monastery near Usce (UNESCO heritage site dating back to the 12th century, burial place of its founder Stephan Nemanja and part of his family) and the following three religious sites in Novi Pazar area: St Peter and Paul’s Church (9th century, considered to be the oldest church on Serbian territory), Djurdjevi Stupovi (12th century, UNESCO heritage site), Sopocani Monastery (UNESCO heritage site dating to 13th century, famous for its beautiful original fresco art).
Nis City Sightseeing Tour
Full day tour to Nis, Serbia’s third largest city. A guided tour of Nis, including Nis Medieval Fortress, the gruesome Skull Tower and the Roman times archaeological site Mediana are planned. If time allows, also visit Zica Monastery near Kraljevo.

Start your tour in Belgrade – if you didn’t have a chance to see the city, our guide can show you the main landmarks via a panoramic drive, as you head out of the capital. Drive south to Topola (with a guided visit to the memorial house of Karadjordje - legendary leader of first Serbian uprising against the Ottomans and also of St George Church – mausoleum of the Karadjordjevic dynasty – beautiful church whose interior is covered in mosaic frescoes). Dinner and overnight are planned in a private home of traditional style in Gornji Milanovac area.
After breakfast, immerse yourself in Serbia’s beautiful church architecture, by visiting two of its most famous orthodox monasteries: ZIca Monastery near Kraljevo and Studenica Monastery near USce. Dinner and overnight in the same private home in Gornji Milanovac.
Full day attendance to GUCA Festival. Transfer to Zlatibor mountain resort in the late hours, after the evening concert. Overnight in Zlatibor, at 4* hotel “Olimp” or similar.
